Job summary

Coleman Worldwide Moving in Kansas City, KS is seeking CDL drivers to load, transport, and unload household goods. This full-time role offers leadership opportunities within moving crews and daily customer interactions.

Ideal candidates have clean driving records, are able to comply with our zero-tolerance drug policy, and can meet DOT requirements. Travel may be local, intrastate, and interstate; compensation ranges from $21 to $27 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to travel (local, intrastate and/or interstate).
• Ability to operate a box truck or tractor trailer (as applicable to your CDL qualification).
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods using a company truck.
• Lead the crew in loading shipment onto and/or off of the truck.
• Inspect shipment prior to loading for proper packing or wrapping.
• Perform accurate inventory of shipment.
• Assist as needed in loading trucks/containers for forward movement via interstate commerce.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections on truck and moving equipment.
• Maintain required documentation and paperwork for shipments, expenses, driver logs, and DOT regulations.
• Lift and carry household goods between residence and vehicle.
• Other duties as assigned
