CDL-A DRIVER / MOVER Ready to Take Your Moving Career to the Next Level?

An established, locally owned moving and storage company with a national van line affiliation is looking for a CDL-A Driver/Mover who is ready to expand their career beyond local moving. If you currently work for a local moving company, have experience handling household goods, and want the opportunity to develop into a professional interstate household-goods driver, we would like to talk with you. You do not need to already be an experienced long-distance van line driver. We are interested in someone who understands the moving business, knows how to work with customers and moving crews, takes pride in doing the job correctly, and wants an opportunity to advance.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This position provides an experienced local mover/driver the opportunity to expand into regional and interstate household-goods moving through our affiliation with a national van line. The right candidate will have the opportunity to develop additional skills in:

• Interstate household-goods transportation
• Professional household-goods loading and shipment management
• Leading and supervising moving crews
• Van line paperwork, inventories and procedures
• DOT compliance and interstate operations
• Customer communication at origin and destination
• Managing household-goods shipments from pickup through final delivery
