ABF Freight, an ArcBest company, is hiring a CDL-A Local Driver / Forklift Operator in Wisconsin. This full-time role involves local pickup and delivery, forklift operation, and dock-style loading tasks at the terminal.

Schedule and duties vary by location, with DOT compliance and safety emphasized throughout. Candidates need a Class-A CDL with required endorsements, at least 1 year of tractor/trailer experience (training available for some), and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience (candidates with less than 1 year may be eligible for training).
• Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker and hazardous materials endorsements are required.

Responsibilities

• Exercise independent judgment regarding the building and tearing down of the trailer to utilize time, resources, energy, and physical demands effectively and efficiently, while complying with all weight distribution laws.
• Other duties, as assigned.
• Load and unload cargo.
• Operate a forklift as needed.
• Perform various tasks ranging from check-in, tractor/trailer inspection, tractor set up, and the pickup and delivery of cargo.
• Complete routine paperwork effectively, and properly log loading sheets.
