Job summary

ABF Freight, an ArcBest company, is seeking a dock/yard associate to perform pickup and delivery, loading/unloading, and trailer movements at our service center. The role requires a Class-A CDL with needed endorsements and a commitment to safe, compliant operations.

The position offers hourly pay with weekly dispersion, union benefits, paid time off, and a path to additional compensation through overtime and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience (training possible).
• CDL Class-A with doubles/triples, tanker and hazmat endorsements required.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine paperwork and log loading sheets.
• Judge trailer setup/teardown while complying with weight laws.
• Operate a forklift as needed.
• Load and unload cargo.
• Check-in, tractor/trailer inspection, setup, and cargo pickup/delivery.
• Other duties as assigned.
