Job summary

ABF Freight is seeking a dockworker with tractor/trailer experience to handle pickup and delivery of cargo, trailer setup, and lightweight dock duties. You will log loading sheets, operate a forklift, and assist with inspections in a fast-paced environment at our service center.

The role requires a Class-A CDL with specified endorsements, 1 year of verifiable truck experience, and the ability to pass DOT checks. Shifts vary by location and may include weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience (training may be available).
• Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker and hazardous materials endorsements and no automatic restriction.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine paperwork and log loading sheets.
• Move and secure trailers; load and unload cargo.
• Operate a forklift as needed; perform check-in and basic inspections.
• Perform duties related to pickup and delivery of cargo.
• Other duties as assigned.
