Job summary

ABF Freight, an ArcBest company, is seeking a dock worker to load, unload, and transport cargo within the terminal area. You will operate a forklift, complete routine paperwork, and ensure safe, efficient trailer handling.

Candidates need a High School Diploma or GED, at least 1 year of tractor/trailer experience, and a Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazmat endorsements. Shift times vary by location, including days, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience; training possible for less than 1 year.
• Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker and hazmat endorsements; no automatic restriction.
• Minimum 21 years of age with a safe driving record and DOT drug screen/pass medical requirement.
• Shift days/hours vary by location and may include nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine paperwork and log loading sheets.
• Operate a forklift as needed.
• Load and unload cargo.
• Perform tractor/trailer checks, setup, and pickup/delivery of cargo.
• Other duties as assigned.
