Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in Spokane, WA is seeking a Local Delivery Driver (CDL A). You will deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day, while handling paperwork and providing excellent customer service.

Must have a valid Class A CDL and hazmat endorsement or obtain one within 60 days. You must be 21+, pass a DOT physical, and lift up to 75 pounds. Competitive pay and benefits are offered with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• You will deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day, while touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service
• Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
• You are expected to complete hazardous material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT regulations
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance
• You will build both relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet goals and objectives of the business and customer needs
• You will continuously build your knowledge on how Linde’s business operates and succeeds to help organization to continue growing

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers, averaging 10-12 stops per day with proper paperwork and service.
• Accurately count and record delivered/picked up quantities and styles.
• Complete hazmat shipping papers per DOT regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Suggest timely vehicle repairs or maintenance as needed.
• Build relationships with customers to meet business goals.
• Learn and apply Linde’s operating principles to support growth.

Skills

Valid Class A CDL

Hazmat endorsement

DOT medical certificate

Two years driving experience

21 years or older

English reading & writing
