Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Local Delivery Driver (CDL B). This role delivers products to customers, averaging 10–12 stops per day, while handling paperwork and delivering excellent customer service in a compliant, safe manner.

You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, notice maintenance needs, and build strong relationships with customers. A CDL B with Hazmat endorsement (or eligibility) and DOT medical certification are required; must be 21+ and able to lift 75

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; proficient in reading and writing in English.
Two years driving experience or recent Truck Driving School certification; valid Class B CDL.
Must be 21 years or older.
Hazmat endorsement on CDL or must obtain within 60 days of hire.
No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in past 2 years.
No alcohol-related convictions within last 10 years.
Must pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
Ability to push, pull, move and lift a minimum of 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

Deliver products to customers with 10–12 stops per day, handling freight, paperwork, and customer service.
Accurately count and record quantities and styles of delivered/picked up products.
Complete hazardous material shipping papers per DOT regulations.
Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Identify maintenance needs for vehicle repairs/maintenance.
Build relationships with internal and external customers.
