Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Hopwood/Uniontown PA is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver to serve restaurant, school, hospital, and university accounts with local routes and home daily. You will build relationships with customers while delivering essential food products and managing unloading tasks up to 100 lbs.

Shifts start early (3 AM–5 AM) and require DOT compliance, a clean driving record, and a Class A CDL. You will be paid weekly with benefits and opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Class A CDL License at hire.
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 pounds.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs throughout the shift.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food products to customers including restaurants, schools, hospitals and universities.
• Build relationships with customers while completing deliveries on local routes.
• Unload cases up to 100 lbs; use ramp and two-wheeler as needed.
• Follow schedule and complete routes safely and efficiently.

CDL A Delivery Driver

Location: Hopwood/Uniontown PA.

Do you have a passion for driving? Are you looking for more home time? Picture yourself as a delivery driver with Gordon Food Service! In this position, you will be building relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more. Day shifts and local routes mean you'll be home every day. You'll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs, and you'll be using a ramp and two-wheeler throughout your shift. Schedule: Start time 3 AM - 5 AM until work until the route is finished.

Pay: Drivers average $70K - $100 K /year

• Guaranteed minimum of $1100 /week
• Daily base pay, plus component pay

• At least 21 years of age

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions)
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check
• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
• You must be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent in order to be considered for employment with us effective January 6th, 2020.
