Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Greensburg, PA is hiring a CDL A Delivery Driver. You will deliver food products to restaurants, schools, and other customers, building relationships and ensuring timely, accurate deliveries.

Day shifts with local routes mean you are home every day. You will unload up to 100 lbs, use a ramp and two-wheeler, and follow DOT and company safety rules. Start times range from 3 AM to 5 AM; weekly pay and strong benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• Class A CDL License at hire.
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 pounds.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs throughout the shift.
• Must read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

CDL A Delivery Driver

Location: Greensburg, PA.

Do you have a passion for driving? Are you looking for more home time? Picture yourself as a delivery driver with Gordon Food Service! In this position, you will be building relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more. Day shifts and local routes mean you’ll be home every day. You’ll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs, and you’ll be using a ramp and two-wheeler throughout your shift. Schedule

Start time 3 AM - 5 AM until work until the route is finished.

Pay

Drivers average $70K - $100 K /year

• Guaranteed minimum of $1100 /week
• Daily base pay, plus component pay
• Paid for every mile driven, stop made, and case delivered

Does this look like you?

• At least 21 years of age
• Class A CDL License at hire
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs throughout the shift
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions)
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check
• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
• You must be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent in order to be considered for employment with us effective January 6th, 2020.
