Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver to service local routes out of Imperial, PA. You will build relationships with customers while delivering food products to restaurants, schools, and more, and you’ll be home every day on day shifts. Drivers unload up to 100 lbs and operate a ramp with a two-wheeler.

Start times are 3 AM–5 AM; the schedule is Monday through Friday. Pay ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, with a guaranteed minimum weekly pay and additional per-mile,

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A CDL license at hire.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and unload cases up to 350 lbs with a two-wheel cart.
• 21+ years of age with a clean driving record.
• Must pass a DOT drug test and background check.
• Read, write, and communicate in English.
• Must be registered with the DOT Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food products to customers on local routes.
• Unload cases up to 100 lbs and use a ramp/two-wheeler.
• Be home daily with day shifts (Mon–Fri, start 3–5 AM).
• Paid for miles, stops, and cases; weekly pay; guaranteed minimum.
• Maintain safety and DOT compliance during deliveries.

CDL A Delivery Driver

Location : Imperial, PA

Do you have a passion for driving? Are you looking for more home time? Picture yourself as a delivery driver with Gordon Food Service! In this position, you will be building relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more. Day shifts and local routes mean you’ll be home every day. You’ll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs, and you’ll be using a ramp and two-wheeler throughout your shift. Pay : Drivers average $70,000-$100,000 K/year

• Guaranteed minimum of $1100/week

Does this look like you?

• At least 21 years of age
• Class A CDL License at hire
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs throughout the shift
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions)
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check
• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
• You must be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent in order to be considered for employment with us effective January 6th, 2020.
