Job summary

Schneider National's Intermodal driving role in Walterboro, SC offers 100% no-touch freight, 85% drop-and-hook, and regional runs across AL, FL, GA, NC, SC, TN and VA. You’ll haul containers on company-owned chassis with steady pay and benefits.

Earn mileage and load pay plus hourly on duty, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 months for experienced drivers, paid orientation, time off after 6 months, and a strong benefits package including 401(k) matching and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• HazMat endorsement required within 90 days of hire.
• Tanker endorsement strongly preferred.
• Live within 100 miles of Savannah, GA.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.

Pay and bonus potential

• Mileage pay and load pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
• Longevity bonus: Earn 3% of annual gross pay each year.
• $5,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.
• Paid orientation.
• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Tanker endorsement is strongly preferred.
• HazMat endorsement required within 90 days of hire - Schneider's self-paced online certification training will help you secure it.
• Live within 100 miles of Savannah, GA.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.
