Job summary

Schneider is seeking an Intermodal truck driver to haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis. Enjoy 95% no-touch freight with 85% drop-and-hook and weekly home time as you move across AL, FL, GA, NC, SC, TN, and VA.

Qualifications include a valid Class A CDL, HazMat within 90 days of hire, tanker endorsement preferred, and at least 3 months of CDL driving experience. Live within 50 miles of Savannah, GA to join our team.

Overview

• Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.

• 95% no-touch freight that is 85% drop-and-hook.

• Drive in and out of railyards within AL, FL, GA, NC, SC, TN and VA.

Pay and bonus potential

• Mileage pay and load pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.

• Paid orientation.

• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.

• Annual bonus: Earn up to 3% of annual gross pay each year.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

• Tanker endorsement is strongly preferred.

• HazMat endorsement required within 90 days of hire - Schneider's self-paced online certification training will help you secure it.

• Live within 50 miles of Savannah, GA.
