Job summary

Schneider Intermodal is hiring an experienced Intermodal truck driver in Indiana. You will haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis, with 100% no-touch freight that is 50% drop-and-hook, and drive in and out of railyards across IA, IL, IN and WI.

Average pay is $1,300-$1,590 weekly with mileage pay, load pay, and hourly pay while on duty. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid orientation and paid time off plus holidays.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Tanker endorsement preferred.
• HazMat endorsement preferred.
• Within 30 miles of Indianapolis, IN.
• At least 3 months of Class A driving experience.

Overview

Pay and bonus potential

• Mileage pay and load pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
• Longevity bonus: Earn 3% of annual gross pay each year.
• $12,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.
• Paid orientation.
• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
• Live within 30 miles of Indianapolis, IN.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.
