Job summary

Schneider Intermodal driving in the Midwest is hiring an experienced driver to haul freight containers on company-owned chassis. Expect 100% no-touch freight, 50% drop-and-hook, and rail-yard work across IA, IL, IN and WI.

Average weekly pay ranges from $1,300 to $1,590 with weekly home time and a sign-on bonus for qualified drivers. Full benefits, paid orientation, and plenty of opportunities for career growth are included.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
• Live within 30 miles of Indianapolis, IN.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.

Overview

Pay and bonus potential

• Mileage pay and load pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.

• Longevity bonus: Earn 3% of annual gross pay each year.

• $12,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.

• Paid orientation.

• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.

Qualifications
