Job summary

Universal Logistics is seeking Home Daily CDL-A Drivers to operate from our Newark, NJ terminal. This role features a day shift (5-7 AM start), Monday–Friday with Saturday optional, and home daily with port work handling light-touch freight.

Earn up to $300 per day with weekly pay and a guaranteed minimum for the first two weeks. Benefit packages include medical, dental & vision, 401(k), paid holidays and PTO, and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 6 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience in last year.
• Port experience preferred but not required.
• TWIC card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Home daily with day shift starting around 5–7 AM.
• Port work and light-touch freight handling.
• Operate on a Monday–Friday schedule with Saturday optional.

Pay & Incentives

• Up to $300 per day
• Potential weekly earnings up to $1,500!
• Weekly pay
• Paid per move (step-based pay)
• Detention pay after 2 hours at ports
• Minimum $250/day guarantee for first 2 weeks
