Trucking Group UTAH is seeking a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver to operate in Fontana, CA. The role offers an hourly pay of $19.25 with five intermodal ramps and daily home time. Shifts are night-based, with 11–14 hour duty windows and a high week average of 1,500 miles.

Responsibilities include drop-and-hook and live freight, operating from five ramps in Los Angeles area, and adhering to intermodal handling and duty-hour rules. No SAP drivers; slip-seat operation with auto-dispatch.

Formación

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• No SAP drivers.
• Comfortable operating intermodal containers secured on chassis.
• Available for the assigned night schedule and required routes.
• Must be able to work within the applicable driving and duty-hour limits.

• Routes throughout the Inland Empire and Los Angeles area.
• Operate from five intermodal ramps serving Long Beach, Los Angeles, Commerce, City of Industry, and Bloomington.
• Some runs travel north through the Grapevine to the Shafter and Lebec areas.
• Average 1,500 miles per week.
• Combination of drop-and-hook, live loads, live unloads, and preloaded freight.
• No driver-assist unloading.
• Slip-seat operation; trucks are parked at the San Bernardino yard.
• Auto-dispatch account; drivers do not choose their routes.
• Northern deliveries and pickups are mandatory when assigned.

Pay & Schedule

• Hourly Pay: $19.25

• Schedule Options: Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday

• Driving Hours: Typically up to 11 hours; shifts may extend to the full 14-hour duty window based on freight demand
