Job summary

Schneider National is seeking an experienced Intermodal Driver to haul automotive freight in containers secured to company-owned chassis. You will drive in and out of railyards across IL, IN, MI and OH, with 90% drop-and-hook freight and 100% no-touch duties.

Enjoy a $12,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 months in your first year for experienced drivers, paid orientation, PTO after 6 months and up to 3% annual bonus on gross pay.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
• Live within 50 miles of Woodhaven, MI.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.

• Operate in intermodal routes to rail yards in IL, IN, MI and OH.
• 50/50 mix of on-duty driving and drop-and-hook tasks.

Pay and bonus potential

• Mileage pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
• $12,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.
• Paid orientation.
• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
• Annual bonus: Earn up to 3% of annual gross pay each year.
