An experienced Heavy Equipment Operator is needed at a leading utility contractor to ensure safe operation of equipment for fiber-optic and power cable installations. Candidates should have field experience around utilities, be capable of operating various construction machinery such as backhoes and mini excavators, and demonstrate the ability to work in a team. Qualifications

• Demonstrated field experience with digging operations around utilities in rural and urban areas.
• Experience operating utility construction equipment.
• Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain construction equipment used in installation.
• Excavate around existing utilities safely.
• Provide training to co-workers on equipment operation.
