Job summary

National Salvage & Service Corporation in the Birmingham, AL area seeks an experienced Grapple Truck Knuckle Boom/Grapple Loader Operator with a Class A CDL. This daytime, Monday–Friday position offers outdoor work in our Recycling Yard with stable seasonal workflow.

You will load wood and railroad ties with a rear-mounted log loader, operate a grapple, complete daily paperwork, and use GPS/EDT devices. Safety focus and ability to work overtime are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating a knuckle boom log loader or grapple with a Class A CDL.
• Ability to work long hours, overtime, weekends in various weather.
• Must hold valid CDL Class A license.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and perform physical tasks outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Pick up railroad ties and wood with rear-mounted log loader boom.
• Load trucks or rail cars in a fast-paced environment.
• Complete daily paperwork; operate GPS and ELD devices.
