Job summary

National Salvage & Service Corporation in Birmingham, AL is seeking a CDL A Grapple Truck Operator to join our recycling yard team. You will operate knuckle boom/log loader/grapple trucks on daytime shifts and support loading, debris removal, and site tasks.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating knuckle boom, log loader, or grapple.
• CDL Class A is required.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate rear-mounted log loader boom to pick up wood.
• Load trucks or rail cars in a fast-paced environment.
• Operate a chainsaw.
• Remove debris at sites using log loader boom.
• Work long hours, overtime, and weekends in varying weather.
• Fill out daily paperwork.
• Use smartphone, GPS, and Electronic Logging Device.
