Ideal candidates have hands-on boom operation experience, a valid Class A CDL, and can work in varying weather conditions while completing daily paperwork and using GPS/ELD tools.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating a knuckle boom, log loader, or grapple.
• Hold a valid CDL Class A driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Able to work long hours, overtime, and occasional weekends in various weather conditions.
• Ability to fill out daily paperwork.
• Familiar with using a smartphone, GPS, and ELD.

Responsibilities

• Picking up railroad ties and other wood using a rear mounted log loader boom.
• Loading trucks or rail cars in a fast-paced environment.
• Operating a chainsaw.
• Removing debris at sites using log loader boom.
• Filling out daily paperwork.
• Able to use a smartphone, GPS, and ELD.
