Job summary

National Salvage & Service Corporation in Birmingham, AL seeks a CDL A Grapple Truck Operator for the Fuel Yard. You will operate a knuckle boom, log loader, or grapple truck on a daytime, Monday–Friday schedule and contribute to safe, efficient debris handling and material movement.

Candidates must have hands-on CDL A experience with knuckle boom/g grapple operations and be able to work in outdoor conditions. This role includes full benefits and stable year-round work.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required with hands-on experience operating knuckle boom, log loader or grapple.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and pass pre-employment drug test.
• Holding a valid driver’s license and ability to use a smartphone/GPS.

Responsibilities

• Operate a knuckle boom/log loader/grapple truck in a fuel yard.
• Load and unload materials, and assist with rail cars as needed.
• Perform daily safety checks and complete required paperwork.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
