Job summary

NIS EXPRESS is offering a driver training program for CDL-A graduates. You will train with an experienced mentor for 4–6 weeks on real loads and routes, learning trip planning, backing, and proper logbook/ELD procedures. After training you advance to solo driving with guaranteed pay in the first weeks.

Riders and pets are not mentioned; the focus is on hands-on training, safety, and rapid transition to full pay once solo. Orientation/lodging details are provided on completion of training.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL-A and be at least 21 years old.
• 120+ hours completed at an accredited CDL school.
• Stable work history and clean driving/background.
• Active DOT medical card and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Train with a trainer for 4–6 weeks on actual loads and routes.
• Learn trip planning, backing and maneuvering, drop and hook procedures, log book and ELD compliance.
• Communicate with dispatch and learn company systems.
• Move to full solo pay after training completion.
