Performance Foodservice in the United States is seeking experienced delivery drivers to ensure timely, safe delivery of food products to a variety of customers. Drivers are paid by cases, miles, stops and a dispatch fee, with training and health benefits available from day one.

The role emphasizes customer service, safety compliance and accurate paperwork, with uniform and boot allowances and opportunities for career growth in a large food-distribution network.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.
• Able to hand-lift and move freight of varying size and weight.

Aufgaben

• Communicates with customers, vendors and coworkers professionally.
• Perform safety checks and DOT inspections.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines.
• Verify delivery items with customers and obtain signatures.
• Deliver orders to customer locations according to route.
• Unload products and organize at customer storage areas.
• Complete required freight paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Maintain daily hours of service records as required.
