Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a delivery driver in Sterling, IL to ensure on-time delivery of food and related products to customers, acting as the company face in daily interactions. You will operate tractor trailer or straight truck, perform safety checks, and maintain accurate delivery paperwork.

The role requires at least 12 months of commercial driving, a valid CDL A, and a clean MVR. Benefits start Day 1, with growth opportunities in a fast-paced food distribution environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ months commercial driving experience
• Valid CDL A license
• Meet all DOT regulations and pass post-offer drug test and background check
• Clean MVR for past 3 years and able to lift 10–90 lbs

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes.
• Perform pre/post-trip safety inspections per DOT regulations.
• Unload, deliver, and verify customer orders with signatures.
• Complete required freight paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
