Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a dedicated delivery driver to support foodservice operations. You will drive tractor trailer or straight truck on various routes, ensuring on-time delivery and proper unloading at customer sites.

The role emphasizes safety, DOT compliance, and customer service as you represent the company. A valid CDL A, state licensing, and a clean MVR are required, with Health Card maintained or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Must have 12+ months commercial driving experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid CDL A license required.
• Meet all state licensing/certification requirements (where applicable).
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Clean MVR (past 3 years).
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check; road test.
• DOT Health Card required or able to secure new DOT Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers, vendors and coworkers professionally.
• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Inspect tractor/trailer against safety standards and report issues.
• Deliver and unload products to customers on schedule.
• Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures.
• Secure vehicle and securely load/unload freight.
