Job summary

Core-Mark, a Performance Food Group company, is hiring a Driver for local and OTR routes delivering food products. Responsibilities include safety checks, DOT compliance, loading/unloading, and delivering orders while maintaining accurate paperwork and customer interactions.

Requirements include a CDL-A, 12+ months tractor/trailer experience, clean MVR, and the ability to lift and maneuver freight. Compensation includes comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within a large distribution

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• 12+ months commercial tractor/trailer experience
• Valid CDL‑A; must be 21+
• Meet state licensing/certification requirements where applicable
• Clean MVR for past 3 years
• Pass post offer drug test and road test
• Valid DOT Health Card or able to secure one
• Able to lift/move freight with two-wheeler or lift gate

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) for tractor/truck and trailer per DOT rules
• Report safety issues and required repairs; follow DOT and company driving guidelines
• Inspect trailer for proper load security and document freight movement
• Verify invoices and count items loaded; complete required paperwork
• Deliver customer orders according to schedule; unload and store items
• Secure equipment and complete all required paperwork; maintain clean facilities
• Record hours of service daily per Federal DOT/state/company rules
• Perform other related duties as assigned
