Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CDL with proper endorsements required.
• Safe driving record essential.
• DOT physical exam and drug test required; random testing.
• Minimum 6 months verifiable Class A driving experience; Gearing Up program may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, efficient transport of steel service center products under Traffic Manager guidance.
• Maintain load security and proper weight distribution.
• Inspect fleet equipment and ensure cleanliness.
• Prepare materials for unloading and supervise unloading at destination.
• Report incidents to Traffic Manager and authorities as needed.
• Adhere to all state, federal highway rules and regulations.
• Provide professional customer service and adhere to safety standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
