Job summary

NIS EXPRESS is hiring CDL-A drivers for OTR dry van routes. You will operate a Class A tractor-trailer, complete required inspections, logs, and compliance, and keep open communication with dispatch.

Training is provided for new CDL holders, with immediate upgrade to full solo mileage pay after training ends. Enjoy a compensation plan with weekly pay, performance bonuses, and home-time flexibility along with company benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical card, 21 years or older.
• New CDL-A holders welcome, or 6+ months of verifiable solo experience.
• 120+ hours completed at an accredited CDL training school.
• Clean MVR and background check; no DUI/DWI in past 5–10 years.
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer on OTR dry van routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs and stay compliant with DOT/FMCSA hours of service.
• Communicate with dispatch on load status, delays, and route changes.
• Secure freight properly for drop and hook and live load/unload stops.
• Maintain a clean driving record and represent the company professionally on the road.
