Job summary

NIS EXPRESS seeks CDL-A drivers for over-the-road dry van positions. Operate a late-model tractor in regional routes, perform inspections, and log hours per DOT rules.

You’ll receive guaranteed pay during training and upgrades to solo mileage once training ends, with home time and rider programs available. Earn weekly gross pay from $1,300 to $1,550, with top earners around $1,900, plus orientation pay and a comprehensive benefits package after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and DOT medical card, 21 years or older.
• New CDL-A holders welcome, or 6+ months of verifiable solo experience.
• 120+ hours completed at an accredited CDL training school.
• Clean MVR and background check.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years.
• No DUI/DWI within the past 5 to 10 years.
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer on OTR dry van routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain logs and stay compliant with DOT/FMCSA hours of service.
• Communicate with dispatch on load status, delays, and route changes.
• Secure freight properly for drop and hook and live load/unload stops.
• Maintain a clean driving record and represent the company on the road.
