Job summary

Red Hawk Trucking is seeking a CDL-A dry van driver for East Coast routes. This full-time position features two weeks out with home time, and an average of about 2,500 miles per week on the road.

Payscale ranges from $0.57 to $0.64 per mile, with loyalty pay after 12 months and a monthly bonus up to 3 cents per mile, plus detention and layover rates. Home every two weeks and 100% no-touch freight are included.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license valid in the applicant's state and held for at least 1 year.
• Hair and urine drug screen, DOT physical completed.
• Minimum age 21 years old.

CDL-A Dry Van Driver - East Coast Only - $1,425 to $1,600 Weekly (Full Time)
Job Type: Driving

Up and down the East Coast, two weeks out, then home. Drivers who stay out the full two weeks average about 2,500 miles a week.

Pay

• $0.57 to $0.64 per mile by experience, plus loyalty pay after 12 months
• Monthly bonus up to 3 cents per mile
• Detention $12.50/hr, layover and breakdown $100/day

The Fleet

• East Coast freight only
• Home every 2 weeks
• 100% no touch, 50 to 60% drop and hook
• 2021 or newer Cascadia or Kenworth

• Paid vacation: 1 week after 1 year, up to 4 weeks after 15

Requirements

• Three or fewer jobs in 12 months, no DUI/DWI in 10 years with a CDL-A
• Two or fewer moving violations in the last 2 years and no preventable CMV crashes in 5
• Three months of tractor trailer time within 3 years, or 6 months in 5 years / 12 in 10 plus a road test
• Class A CDL from one state and a US license held for a full year
• At least 21 years old
• Hair and urine drug screen, DOT physical, 3 day paid orientation in Shippensburg PA
