Job summary

Red Hawk Trucking is hiring a CDL-A Dedicated Dry Van Driver for a home weekly schedule. You will run two loops weekly from Ohio to New Jersey and back, with weekend home time and a 34-hour reset.

Expected pay starts at $1,350 per week minimum, with about 1,840 miles weekly. Daily bonuses include safety/miles/productivity bonuses, detention and layover pay, and a $3,000 sign-on bonus paid over six months. No-touch freight included.

Qualifications

• 21+, Class A CDL from one state, US license for the last 12 months.
• 3 months tractor trailer experience in the last 36 months (road test option with 6 months in 5 years or 12 months in 10 years).
• Max 2 moving violations in 2 years, no preventable accidents in 5 years.
• No more than 3 jobs in the past year.
• No DUI/DWI in 10 years if you held a CDL-A at the time (5 years if before).
• Hair and urine drug test plus DOT physical at a 3 day paid orientation in Springfield, Ohio.

How the Week Works

• Two loops a week from Ohio to New Jersey and back
• Home Saturday and Sunday for your 34 hour reset
• Sometimes a 10 hour break at home during the week, depending on freight
• No touch freight, 50 to 60% drop and hook

What It Pays

• $1,350 a week minimum when you are available all week
• About 1,840 miles a week
• Monthly bonus up to 3 cents per mile for safety, miles and productivity
• Detention $12.50 an hour after 2 hours, layover and breakdown $100 a day
• $3,000 sign on bonus: $1,500 at 90 days, $1,500 at 6 months

Equipment

• 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadia or Kenworth, all automatic
• Assigned truck you can take home on your time off
