Job summary

GrayMar Environmental Services in Birmingham, AL is seeking a CDL A Driver to join our field operations. This full-time role transports non-hazardous and hazardous waste using Roll-Offs, Tankers, Box Vans and related equipment, with on-call emergency responses.

You will follow safety policies, maintain required logs and inspections, and support the operations team with loading, unloading, and equipment operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• CDL A with clean driving record and Tanker/Hazmat endorsements.
• HAZWOPER training preferred; able to pass pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste using multiple vehicle types.
• Adhere to safety policies, complete inspections and logs.
• Local work with occasional out-of-town travel and on-call duties.
• Load/unload waste, operate light/heavy equipment, and assist operations.
• Attend training to earn required certifications and maintain paperwork.
