Performance Food Group in Rice, MN, is hiring CDL A Drivers for an entry level trainee program with early morning dispatch five days a week. The role offers company-paid hotels on layovers, a food stipend, and a minimum daily pay with incentive components.

Expect to learn tractor trailer operations, complete safety checks, and deliver to customers with a focus on safety and accuracy. The position emphasizes training and growth within our food distribution network.

Formación

• Must have CDL A license and clean MVR in last 3 years.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Able to pass road test and possess DOT Health Card.
• Lift 10–90 pounds as needed.
• Meet state licensing requirements where applicable.
• 0–6 months commercial driving experience.

Responsabilidades

• Attend and complete PFG Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program as required.
• Ride-with and assist driver trainer in executing deliveries.
• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Inspect trailer for proper load, check customer invoices, and complete paperwork.
• Drive to deliver orders according to route schedule.
• Unload products, obtain signatures, and handle returns as needed.
• Ensure tractor, trailer, and freight are secured at all times.
• Maintain daily hours-of-service logs.
• Keep equipment and loading areas clean and safe.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
