Zusammenfassung

PFG Customized is seeking an entry-level Driver Trainee to learn tractor-trailer and straight truck routes across intrastate and interstate deliveries. You will train with a driver mentor, complete safety checks, and grow toward solo or team routes with 4- or 5-day schedules.

Position offers a $1,600 weekly training pay guarantee, potential to earn $90,000+ annually, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Benefits Day 1, uniforms and boot allowance are included.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• Internal PFG Candidates: 1 year of service and able to attain CDL Permit and DOT Health Card.
• External Driver School Direct Hire: 0-6 months experience with a CDL License.
• External Entry Level Hire: 0-6 months with a CDL License.
• Valid CDL A.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test.
• Pass road test.
• Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card.

Aufgaben

• Attends and completes PFG Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program.
• Rides-with and assists driver trainer during deliveries.
• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Inspect trailer and ensure proper loading and documentation.
• Deliver orders according to route schedule.
• Unload and sign for deliveries; collect payments where required.
• Ensure equipment is secured at all times.
• Perform daily hours-of-service log entries.
• Complete necessary paperwork and housekeeping duties.
