Job summary

Sysco Columbus Team is seeking delivery drivers to safely transport products from the warehouse to customers using tractor-trailers and ensure accurate deliveries. The role involves loading/unloading, handling paperwork, and maintaining food safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience. The company offers paid training, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k and stock purchase plan, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience.
• Completion of a tractor trailer driving school accepted in lieu of or in addition to high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Unload product from trailer and deliver according to customer invoices and company standards.
• Ensure all paperwork and logs (DOT logs, inspections, maintenance reports) are completed accurately.
• Maintain food safety protocols and sanitary conditions in vehicle and warehouse.
• Build good relationships with customers through excellent service and communication.
