Job summary

QXO is seeking a safety‑focused CDL A Driver to join our team in Texas. You will transport building materials and equipment to customer locations and job sites, assist with loading/unloading, and ensure DOT/FMCSA compliance and safe operations.

Ideal candidates have at least 12 months verifiable commercial driving experience, a valid CDL, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather. We offer competitive benefits and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch‑freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs
• Pre‑inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE
