Job summary

MCG Tran in Joliet, IL is seeking a truck driver to pick up staged International containers from the Yard and deliver them to customers in Pleasant Prairie, WI or Waukegan, IL. The role includes two daily turns from Joliet and occasional rail yard pickups, with on-site management during night hours for any issues.

You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, comply with customer protocols, and handle unattended drops with management permission when needed.

Qualifications

• Must perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on containers and chassis.
• Deliver containers to customers in Pleasant Prairie, WI or Waukegan, IL.
• Complete daily checks and adhere to customer protocols.

Responsibilities

• Pickup staged International containers from the Yard and deliver them to the customer in Pleasant Prairie, WI or Waukegan, IL.
• Two turns from Joliet, to Pleasant Prairie, WI, or Waukegan, IL will be required each day.
• Some pick ups will be from Chicagoland rail yards.
• If no one is on site for delivery at the customer, unattended drop and hooks will be allowed with permission from management.
• Completing pre trip and post trips on all containers and chassis to make sure they are ready for delivery
• Manager will be on site at night if there are any issues.
