Job summary

Roadrunner Freight in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a reliable team member for a hybrid LTL service center role that blends local pickup and delivery driving, dock work, and general support for terminal operations.

The ideal candidate holds a valid CDL, clean DOT record, and can pass a DOT physical and drug screen. You will operate trucks, loaders, and yard equipment, work with dispatch, and help keep the terminal safe and efficient.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with Class A or B compatible with equipment used.
• Clean driving record meeting DOT standards.
• Able to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate forklifts/pallet jacks.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English, including shipping docs.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Experience in LTL, freight handling, or dock ops preferred

Responsibilities

• Pickup & delivery driving on local routes with DOT-compliant practices.
• Dock operations: load/unload, verify counts, inspect for damage.
• Hostling/yard movements: reposition trailers and coordinate with dispatch.
• Support general terminal duties and safety initiatives.
