Job summary

American Driver LLC is seeking Class A CDL drivers in the Lafayette area. No experience is required if you have 120+ hours from CDL school or verifiable driving experience. After a short onboarding, you move to solo driving with full solo pay.

You’ll run East of Denver area freight with 1,800–2,900 miles per week, and benefits begin after 30 days, including medical and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Class A CDL issued by your state of residence.
• 21 years or older.
• CDL-school graduate with 120+ hours, or verifiable experience.
• 2 or fewer moving violations in the past 2 years; no DUI/DWI in the past 10 years.
• DOT physical and hair and urine drug screen.

Job description

Lafayette-area Class A drivers: $1,200 to $1,800 a week, and a company that hires brand-new CDL holders.

"No experience" is the most common reason new drivers get turned down. Here it isn't a reason. If you finished CDL school with 120+ hours, you qualify.

From new CDL to solo driver

2. Train one-on-one with an experienced mentor. You're paid during training.
3. Go solo in your own assigned truck at full solo pay.
4. Your benefits start after 30 days.

Solo pay

• $1,200 to $1,800 a week, about $62,400 to $93,600 a year
• Mileage pay plus $15 per stop
• 1,800 to 2,900 miles a week
• Weekly direct deposit

Where you'll run

OTR lanes everywhere east of Denver, except the Northeast. It's a big map with a lot of freight, and that's what keeps your miles up. Expect drop-and-hook, live loads, live unloads and preloads. You're out about two weeks, then home. Dispatch is there 24/7.

Your truck

A late-model automatic or 10-speed, about 1.5 years old, assigned to you.
