Job summary

QXO is seeking a CDL Driver in Redmond, Oregon to safely transport building materials to customer locations and job sites, while performing loading, securing, and documentation tasks in line with DOT/FMCSA regulations. The role combines driving with hands-on loading operations in a fast-paced environment.

Typical duties include route planning, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring safety at all times. A valid CDL Class A or B and 1–2 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and safe driving practices.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and hold a valid CDL Class A or B.
• Minimum 1–2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
• Ability to operate load securement equipment and digital logs.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport materials to customer locations and job sites.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections according to DOT/FMCSA.
• Plan routes and communicate delivery status with dispatch.
• Load, secure, and unload materials per safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle and complete delivery documentation.
• Ensure DOT/FMCSA compliance and wear PPE.
• Assist customers with unloading and site safety.
