Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-A delivery driver to safely transport and unload food products to customers. You will be the face of the company on routes, maintaining timely deliveries and professional customer interactions.

Drive intrastate and interstate routes, perform safety inspections, and adhere to DOT regulations. Responsibilities include gear up for routes, verify invoices and orders, collect payments when required, and complete all required documentation, while upholding

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 12+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally.
• Drives and delivers customer orders according to predetermined route schedule.
• Performs pre/post trip safety checks and DOT inspections.
• Unloads products and secures freight at customer locations.
• Completes required paperwork and ensures accurate signatures and receipts.
