Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a CDL-A delivery driver to join our Massachusetts operations. Drive a tractor-trailer or straight truck across intrastate/interstate routes, delivering food products to customers on a safe, timely basis in compliance with DOT regulations.

Position offers day-one benefits and a comprehensive package including health, 401(k) matching, education assistance, and paid time off. Must have CDL-A, 6+ months experience, and a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience required.
• Valid CDL-A license required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• DOT Health Card current or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors and coworkers.
• Drive tractor trailer or straight truck on local, intrastate and interstate routes.
• Perform pre/post trip safety inspections as per DOT regulations.
• Ensure accurate loading/unloading and proper paperwork.
• Deliver and unload food products to customers on schedule.
