Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a CDL-A delivery driver to move food and related products to customers across intrastate and interstate routes. You will be the face of the company, ensuring timely deliveries and strong customer relationships while maintaining safety and DOT compliance.

You will operate tractor trailers or straight trucks, perform pre/post trip inspections, complete paperwork, and adhere to company policies.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license required and driving experience noted.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years.
• Possess or be able to obtain a DOT Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers, vendors, and coworkers professionally.
• Perform safety checks and DOT-compliant inspections.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Deliver and unload food products on schedule; verify deliveries and collect signatures.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Secure loads and maintain tractor, trailer, and equipment.
