Job summary

Performance Foodservice is hiring CDL-A Delivery Drivers in Massachusetts. You will drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on local and interstate routes, delivering and unloading food products to customers. Dispatches run 3am-5am with home daily.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience is required.
• Valid CDL-A license is required.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet state licensing/certification requirements where applicable.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Current DOT Health Card or able to secure one.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes.
• Perform pre/post-trip safety inspections and ensure DOT compliance.
• Deliver and unload food and related products to customers on schedule.
• Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and delivery signatures.
• Ensure security of tractor, trailer, and freight after deliveries.
