Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-A delivery driver to cover PTO and call-offs. This Extraboard role involves over-the-road routes, intrastate and interstate travel, and on-site work with our foodservice customers. You will ensure timely deliveries, load/unload, and maintain DOT compliance.

Average annual pay is around $114,000+ with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Benefits begin Day 1, with uniforms and safety boot allowance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 12+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and background check.
• Pass road test.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers, vendors and coworkers professionally.
• Perform safety checks pre/post trip per DOT regulations.
• Inspect tractor/trailer to meet safety standards.
• Deliver and unload products to customers on schedule.
• Verify deliveries and obtain customer signatures.
• Complete required freight paperwork accurately.
• Ensure equipment and trailer are secured after shifts.
