Job summary

Patriot Environmental Services in Denver seeks an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our field team. You will operate multiple heavy machines, maintain rigorous safety standards, and ensure DOT compliance while meeting tight delivery schedules.

Required: CDL-A with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, 2–5 years of relevant experience, and 40-hour HAZWOPER. This role involves long hours, overtime, and on-call responsibilities with physical demands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL-A license required; Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• 2–5 years of heavy equipment driving experience preferred.
• 2–5 years in hazardous waste control/environmental services preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate heavy equipment including 50/70 Barrel Vacuum and Roll-Off trucks.
• Make deliveries safely and on time.
• Maintain compliance with DOT, FMCSA, logs, timesheets, and vehicle inspections.
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of vehicles.
• Respond to 24/7 Emergency Response calls; work long hours including nights/weekends.
