Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Driver - Microbulk in Marlborough, MA. The role involves delivering cylinders, handling hazardous materials paperwork, and maintaining safety inspections as part of a team serving industrial, educational and medical customers.

The position requires a valid Class A CDL, HazMat endorsement or ability to obtain within 60 days, and DOT-compliant medical certification. English literacy and a GED are required, with at least 2 years driving experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years driving experience or completion of truck driver training
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions or moving violations in past 2 years
• No alcohol-related convictions in past 10 years
• Current medical examiner’s certificate or ability to pass DOT physical
• Valid Class A CDL is required
• Current Hazmat on CDL or ability to obtain Hazmat within 60 days of hire
• You can read and write in English
• High School GED is required
• You are 21 years or older

Responsibilities

• Provide high standard of customer service while delivering, unloading products and moving to customer use point
• Deliver, rotate and reload returned empty cylinders to the vehicle (driving ~30% of day)
• Accurately count and record quantities and styles of product delivered and picked up
• Complete Hazardous Materials shipping papers per DOT/TC regulations
• Placard vehicle according to hazardous material regulations and LINDE standards
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and identify needed repairs
• Operate a variety of equipment
• Interface with internal and external customers
• Deliver to Industrial, Service, Educational and Medical customers
• Use handheld computers for transaction paperwork and HazMat compliance reports
• Follow a computer-generated Route and Sequence delivery plan
