Job summary

GrayMar Environmental Services, LLC in Birmingham, AL is seeking a CDL A Driver for full-time service. The driver will transport non-hazardous and hazardous waste using Roll-Offs, Tankers, Box Vans and related equipment, reporting to the Field Office's Branch Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CDL A with a clean driving record.
• Current Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
• No manual or airbrake restrictions.
• HAZWOPER 40-hour certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the number one goal by following policies and procedures.
• Adherence and documentation of all transportation compliance requirements.
• Predominantly local work with occasional out-of-town travel.
• Load and unload different types of waste.
• Operate light and heavy equipment including forklift, skid steer, and pressure washer.
• Wear PPE and adhere to safety procedures.
• On-call rotations for emergency responses.
• Complete required paperwork.
